   Dedication

Picture1.jpg

This website is dedicated to my brother, Barry. He died at the age of five before I was born. He also had epilepsy and I have always felt a kindred spirit to the brother I never knew. I have been told by those who knew and loved him that he was a kind, thoughtful and caring boy. I have always wished he could have been in my life and yet at the same time I have felt his presence. I have given up trying to explain this. I just know he is with me.

Appreciations

I would like to thank my parents, all four of them, for their constant help and support in dealing with my health issues. My Dad, Terry Deal, teaches me to chase my dreams and do everything but follow the norm. He has always provided books, experiences and conversations to encourage my imagination. My Mom, Martha Tubbs, gives me her unwavering emotional support every day of my life. She never tries to talk me out of any new creative direction I’m inspired to pursue. My stepmom, Sandy Deal, is so many things that have made my life easier. She is my go-to person for information and resources, and always, always there with her emotional support.Dan Tubbs, my step-father, makes me business cards whenever I decide to be something different, no questions asked. I am beyond blessed to have all four of these wonderful people in my life.

My Uncle, Stephen White, has spent countless hours with me developing this project.

Our conversations about my purpose and wishes for the website have enlivened my writing.

I am so grateful for his patience and guidance.

My cousin, Jozef White, has done all the technical work to make my dream of having a website come true. Thanks so much Jozef, for knowing everything I don’t about technology. I love the result!

And lastly, I would like to thank my friends and family members. They are my window to the outside world. Because of their understanding of my condition and their encouragement I am able to participate in a social life. They keep me grounded and keep me laughing, even

when things aren’t going so well. You all know who you are and I am so grateful to have you in

my life!
